Food is one of the basic human needs. Today that food infrastructure has developed so greatly that the question of satisfying hunger does not arise. Millions of restaurants, cafes, and bars are waiting for their clients. Taking into account all the madness and high speed of our lives, one shouldn’t wonder why fast food restaurants are so popular. Without spending too much time and money you can get a nutritious and delicious dinner (well, the question if this food is useful doesn’t appear when you are as hungry as a wolf). The most well-known chains of fast food restaurants are McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Arby’s, Subway and others. Millions of people visit these places everyday, and it’s understood that consumers are really satisfied with the services they get and food they eat. Though, if you want to share your opinion about
Arby's , Subway or any other restaurant and read some reviews, you can visit web sites containing complaints and feedbacks about these companies.
The competition between fast food restaurants is huge, so owners always look for the ways to attract more customers than rivals. Recently, Arby’s has presented its new premium sandwiches as a part of their new "Good Mood Food" menu. The new dish is called Angus Three Cheese & Bacon sandwich. It is served hot with Swiss cheese, Parmesan and Cheddar. Also, there are peppered bacon and ranch dressing. According to representatives of Arby’s, the new menu is developed for people who like and need to it fast food because of lack of time, but have no wish to feel guilty about that.
Well, let’s now have a more detailed overview about this new dish offered by Arby’s. According to the ad, the sandwich is made of lean beef, but is that true? The thing is that the nutrition information about Angus Three Cheese & Bacon sandwich differs from what consumers are promised. It has 660 calories and 33 grams of fat (be ready to get attacked by the stunning amount of cholesterol, ladies and gentlemen!). No one argues this could appear delicious, but after having such a sandwich blood sugar crash is the fastest thing to get. One sandwich is a half (!) of a person’s daily need in calories! And I’m not talking about fries and desserts (hardly anyone can resist trying all that chocolate muffins or milk shakes that are just amazing at Arby’s). One doesn’t have to be a genius to count that few weeks of such diet will result in a significant weight increase. Besides, the abundance of vinegar, oil, and garlic will not be good for your stomach.
Obviously, fast food restaurants system will prosper as it does now, no matter how harmful the food they serve is. Certainly, there is no need to refuse eating fast food at all (though, your body would thank you for the rest of your life), but it would be quite reasonable at least to reduce the amount of time spent in these "fast food stations".
